Our purpose is aligned with the overarching goal of the International Graduate ​School of Leadership (IGSL) to develop servant-steward leaders for strategic ​impact in fulfilling the Great Commission. Through our innovative eLearning ​programs, we extend IGSL's reach globally, ensuring that individuals who are ​unable to attend our campus due to various circumstances still have access to ​high-quality, Christ-centered leadership education. 1. What are IGSL Online Courses?


The IGSL Online Courses aim to extend IGSL's program ​accessibility to both local and offshore learners seeking ​self-directed learning opportunities.


2. What are the available courses?

3. Who are these courses designed for?


The IGSL Online Courses are primarily tailored for Bible-​believing Christians, including ministers, pastors, church ​workers, and individuals from various professions. ​Additionally, it is intended for Bachelor's degree holders ​with a proficient understanding of the English language. ​Whether you're actively engaged in ministry or pursuing a ​career in another field, if circumstances prevent you from ​attending our resident program, yet you are dedicated to ​deepening your understanding of God's word and His ​purposes, this course provides a warm and enriching ​learning environment.


4. How are the courses structured?


Our courses are structured as standalone modules, each ​designed to certify individuals in specific skills. These ​micro-credential courses, facilitated through the Canvas ​Learning Management System, offer targeted learning ​opportunities with most courses divided into 7 to 15 ​modules.


Each module includes various activities and requirements ​tailored to the specific course. Additionally, most of the ​lectures are delivered through a video format with ​supporting slides and downloadable files to enhance ​understanding and engagement. Assessments are ​conducted via quizzes, essays, and other regular school ​assessment tools, depending on the course requirements. ​Furthermore, each course includes a minimum of 5 live ​meetings with an academic mentor, providing valuable ​guidance and support throughout the learning journey. ​Learners also have the option to credit these courses ​towards a degree if they choose to pursue graduate ​studies and meet the admission criteria of their selected ​program.


5. Is this an online degree or program?


It's important to note that the IGSL Online Courses are not ​categorized as an Online Degree Program; rather, they are ​individual micro-credential courses. Nonetheless, students ​can leverage the credits obtained from these courses ​towards a degree if they choose to pursue graduate ​studies and meet the admission standards of their ​preferred program through the IGSL residential program.


6. Is this an accredited program?


Taking an online course alone does not grant program ​accreditation. To achieve an accredited degree, students ​are required to apply to the residency program separately. ​However, credits earned in the online course are eligible ​for credit to the residential program.


7. Will there be an online degree?


We are exploring the possibility, and determining how we ​can best meet the needs of students.


8. How long does it take to finish a course?


With our self-paced courses, you have the autonomy to ​work through them at your convenience. On average, plan ​to allocate the following number of hours for each Course:

  • 7.5 hours per week for asynchronous lessons which ​includes: reading materials, discussions, video ​recorded lessons, research, reflection paper, and other ​activities related to the topic
  • 1.5 hour for live meeting with the Academic mentor


9. What is the permitted timeframe for completing a ​Single Course?


The course duration typically spans from seven to fifteen ​weeks to allow sufficient time for coursework. Should you ​need more time to complete the course, extension requests ​will be reviewed by the Faculty-in-Charge, with ​consideration given to the course timetable.


10. What materials will I need for the Course?


For this course, you'll primarily need a working laptop or ​computer with internet access. Additionally, it's helpful to ​have a quiet and conducive environment for studying. ​Moreover, an open heart and mind, ready to learn from the ​Lord and apply the learnings, are essential for fully ​engaging with the course material. Any specific materials ​required for the course will be communicated to you by the ​instructor or provided digitally.


11. What resources and activities are part of the ​course curriculum?


Our curriculum utilizes various resources such as videos, ​slides, podcasts, and print materials, incorporating ​quizzes, assignments, and exams into courses. ​Additionally, students benefit from accessing our extensive ​virtual or in-person library resources and online ​databases, essential to enriching their academic ​experience. Furthermore, personalized one-on-one live ​mentoring is available to offer support and guidance ​throughout the learning journey.


12. How do I access grades and feedback?


To access your grades and feedback, you can view them ​through the grading dashboard of our Learning ​Management System. Furthermore, your mentor will supply ​you with a progress feedback report via email. Live ​feedback sessions through one-on-one academic ​mentoring may also be available to enrich your learning ​experience.


13. What digital tools are applied in the IGSL Online ​Courses?


Our Online Courses integrate a variety of digital tools to ​enhance your learning experience. These include:

  • Canvas: Learning Management System ( Chat and ​messaging Feature can also be utilized for ​Communication with Instructors and Classmates)
  • Google Workspace: Productivity and Collaboration ​Tool
  • Zoom & Google Meet: Communication Tools for live ​mentoring


14. Is it possible to access the course through my ​phone?


Yes, accessing the course through your phone is possible. ​You can easily download the Canvas app onto your mobile ​device. For step-by-step instructions, please refer to the ​following video tutorial.



APPLICATION, REGISTRATION AND FEES



1. How to apply and register?


To apply and register for IGSL Online Courses, please ​follow these steps:


  1. Fill out all necessary fields in the application form ​accurately and process the application fee.
  2. Expect an email confirming receipt of your ​application. Follow instructions to submit necessary ​documents.
  3. An email will follow to coordinate your schedule for ​the required English Proficiency Test (EPT).
  4. Take the English Proficiency Test at the scheduled ​time and wait for the result notification by email.
  5. Upon receiving the acceptance email, make the ​tuition payment to secure enrollment. Instructions ​will be provided via email.
  6. Once payment is received, enrollment confirmation ​will be sent via email, along with login credentials ​and further instructions.
  7. Access the online learning platform using the ​provided credentials.



2. Do you accept foreign students?


Yes, we warmly welcome students from all around the ​world. Our courses are open to Bible-believing ​Christians regardless of their geographical location. ​Whether you're from North America, Europe, Asia, ​Africa, or anywhere else, you can access our courses ​and benefit from our learning resources.


3. What are the payment fees for an online course?


The following fees apply:

  • The application fee (non-refundable) is only ₱500 or ​$9 USD
  • Tuition fee per unit is ₱1,220
  • Matriculation is as follows:
  • 1.5 unit Course = ₱15,206 or $264 USD
  • 3 unit Course = ₱17,612 or $306 USD

If you haven't received your confirmation email, please ​check your spam or junk folder in case it was filtered ​there. If you still can't find it, please contact our support ​team at onlineprogram@igsl.asia to confirm your ​application.



CERTIFICATE AND COMPLETION



1. Am I eligible to receive a certificate upon course ​completion?


Participants who successfully completed the modules, ​and passed the course can expect to receive their ​certificates within two weeks of the course ending.


2. How can I confirm that I've finished the course?


To verify the completion status, simply check if your ​progress bar has reached 100%. However, note that ​occasionally, the instructor may need to review your ​submissions first. Therefore, it's advisable to conduct a ​manual check to ensure all tasks are accounted for.


3. How can I verify my qualification for certificate ​issuance?


After successfully achieving course completion, your ​"PASSED" status will be visible in the Gradebook on ​Canvas (our Learning Management System) confirming ​your eligibility for a certificate.


4. Will a failing grade on a quiz disqualify me from ​receiving a certificate?


Requirements may differ depending on the course. Feel ​free to contact your Academic Mentor for further ​information.


5. What are the next steps after completing a ​course?


You may opt to enroll in another course, based on ​availability, or wait for certificate issuance.


6. Are there guidelines in place concerning academic ​honesty and plagiarism?


Yes, guidelines are in place regarding academic integrity ​and plagiarism. You may learn more about this through ​our student handbook uploaded in our Learning ​Management System.


7. Can the course be extended in case of late ​enrollment, or if I need more time to finish it?


The Faculty-in-Charge will evaluate extension requests in ​light of the current course timetable. If your extension ​request is granted, you will be required to pay a fee of ​₱500 or $9 USD for the extended duration.


8. What happens if I don’t complete the Course?


If you don’t complete the course, you won’t be eligible to ​receive the Certificate. Completion of the course is ​necessary to demonstrate proficiency in the skills taught ​and to fulfill the requirements for certification. ​Additionally, without completing the course, you may ​miss out on valuable learning opportunities, mentorship ​sessions, and the chance to apply course credits towards ​a degree if you choose to pursue further education. We ​encourage all learners to engage fully with the course ​material and meet the completion requirements to ​maximize their learning experience and attain their goals.
